Elias must be very disappointed. I feel Belcher is URC level, but no more.

Think the Cardiff love machine must have been in over ride in selection. Adam’s, Ben Thomas, Mann, and Belcher are all contentianal selections to me

Adams there for the kicking game, we all knew Ben T would start at 12 but the others are head scratchers for me.

Mann and Belcher for me aren’t big or powerful enough for Test rugby. Where is Cracknell

Care to revisit now that the 23 has been announced?

Think 20 points will have to be revised. Why has he picked Eddie out of position oh yeah to get Ben Thomas into 12 laughable and to pick Belcher over Elias is sheer madness.
Is Beard really still the best we got at second row.
If we keep it under 50 we will be doing well.
Chuffed for Josh but think it would have been a good game for him to miss.
She asks why i still can't answer. I guess its in the blood.

After everything that's happened in Welsh rugby,  my emotional  interaction  with the 6N is minimal at best.
After the last thrashing against  England in Cardiff  , I vowed I wouldn't  watch Wales again for the foreseeable future . Don't  mind losing but humiliation  is another matter.  Some people ( surely not real Welsh rugby fans) chained to their  bloody  keyboards, seem to revel in the grotesque  spectacle of an appalling  Welsh team. Not me,  saddens me immensely.

I agree withnour sage, Will Chips, however, that the team selected will put up,a reasonable  fight and cling on tona modicum of respectability.
Let's hope QuestionWink

There are players there selected which indicate Sherratts influence on Tandy.
Mann, Adams, Thomas and Beecher..stand out.
Cracknell, holding his own at Leicester is a bizarre omission. He should be at 8 and Wainwright  at 6. Ryan Elias has proved beyond doubt that  he is back to his best. Scarlets  scrummaging is always better when he is present. His line out throwing is much improved,  and far better than  Lake.
On the plus side Inam happy for Ellis abd Eddie , wish them well.
What really pleased me though is  Josh McLoud's inclusion.
Not long ago, he suffered a near career ending injury.
I know from my daughters experience,  what that level of injury  can do to your body  and the subsequent  mental anguish  that follows.
Mc Loud is a warrior and I just think sometimes you get what you deserve
( not always), but Josh has worked so hard and is slowly  developing his leadership  skills.

My main worry  however is with the Scarlets  squad being so thin,  WE CANNOT AFFORD INJURIES FROM 6N. This always happens in a contact sport understandably, but for Scarlets lose key players would  be a hammer blow.
At least we are not exposing  Ryan Elias, Jake Ball or Sam Costelow  ATM.
I still  have nightmare's about Samson Lee 's injury  ,playing for Wales.  Never the same player afterwards .
Foxy suffered a similar serious injury, playing in WC, and he was never the same thereafter
I stood yer on tanner bank

How the hell is Josh Adams starting. I love team announcement days. Every team’s supporters never agree. It’s the most one eyed time of the year. LOL

They’ll target dan edwards. He wont have alot of time as they’ve selected three very quick ‘7’s across the back row. Ruck Clear-outs need to be good.

They will put a big runner at the 10/12 channel and have a lot of gainline success there.

Lake will be crap in the line out.

Archie Griffin has started 2 games all season and is 4th choice at Bath.

Adam beard will bumble about doing nothing apart from being tall and big. Hopefully he can raise his carries to 2 per game.

Dan Edward’s will be like a small child defensively.

As will Ben Thomas who will be tore apart by Dingwall.

Belcher will find out he is not International standard.

We are going to get hammered what was the record defeat to England I fear this will be an absolute battering in the first half and when they bring the bench on Bomb squad style even worse.
