The uncertainty won’t be helping our preparations for 26/27.

Doesn’t change the fact the ospreys direct owners want to buy Cardiff and have looked to offload the Ospreys numerous times.
Yep.
And Rob Davies ain’t going to put £2m a year in by himself.
We're still still here, but I wish we were in an Anglo-Welsh

Any idea how much he put in when he saved them in 2019.

This may have been longstanding engagement. Alternatively, SCC made their announcement today knowing that the WRU Board were at PyS.

You can tell that I’m not a glass full/half empty person. I’m “there’s no bloody glass at all” 😂

Or, why is that glass twice as big as it needs to be? LOL

That was more a case of leadership than money, although Os were losing less then than now, but I think Mike James was running the show until Rob picked up a newspaper and realised his team was about to be swallowed up by Nigel Short.

Hell of a coincidence though.....and Im guessing they will have to put the 3 licenses out to tender now,Os were never going to roll over,I think this could be real trouble not just for the wru but for us aswell.

Tender seems likely, and the latest developments don’t work in our favour. Incredibly frustrating. I wish we managed to just sign PRA25 before the Dragons did.

Out of interest which bit doesn't work in our favour?

Which bit of the potential ospreys proposal would out weigh our potential proposal?

Not saying our survival is a given.... Just curious.

Very much so, WRU reps last night said this is now the likely outcome.

With the tender being for a West Wales team, population is the same for both teams no ?
Although Ospreys are fighting the case for swansea and only swansea, scarlets have fought for West wales. The key imo.

Good to read of face to face dialogue, and the WRU moving out of Tierney Towers to do so.

What appears to have happened is that the O's now have a direct public service backer & partner. They seem to have lured Y11 into continuing to invest by offering ongoing public money and investment ( Bit like the Welsh Gov use to do to attract & retain overseas businesses to relocate to Wales).
Would Carmarthenshire Council enter into a business partnership with Scarlet's I wonder?
